Marian Bjornstad Death – I say goodbye to my wonderful mother, Marian Bjornstad, who passed away quietly last night. It is with a mixture of profound pain and rejoicing that I say goodbye to her. Her life was full of love, laughter, and memories that she would always remember, and she passed away at the age of 95. As I think back on her journey, I am filled with an overwhelming sense of gratitude for the love and support she received from Hospice of San Joaquin, the compassionate caregivers and staff at The Commons on Thornton, our family at St. Andrews Church, and the numerous friends and relatives who had an impact on her life.
The path that Mom took was one that was marked by resiliency, grace, and unshakeable faith. Her approach to life was marked by a sense of optimism and courage that served as an inspiration to everyone who met her, despite the difficulties she encountered. Her generosity had an immediate and profound impact on the lives of a great number of people in our community, and her kindness knew no bounds.
In particular, I would like to express my gratitude to Hospice of San Joaquin for the remarkable care and assistance they provided to my mother during her final days. Their skilled caretakers and staff gave Mom with comfort and compassion, ensuring that she was surrounded by love and dignity right up until the very end of her life. To a similar extent, the personnel at The Commons on Thornton went above and beyond to make Mom feel as though she was living in her own home by providing her with consistent care and help.
In addition, I would like to express my deepest gratitude to the members of our St. Andrews Church family, whose prayers, words of support, and physical presence rendered a great deal of solace to us during Mom’s sickness. We will be eternally grateful to you for your unflinching support and the generosity and compassion that you showed us by helping us get through some of the most difficult times in our lives.
We would like to express our gratitude to all of our friends and family members, both near and far, for the outpouring of love, prayers, and acts of kindness that you have shown us. In addition to bringing happiness into Mom’s life, your support helped us get through the challenging times that we were going through. You have left a profound impression on us with your thoughtfulness and generosity.
