— Four people were murdered and eighteen others were injured in a mass shooting that occurred early on Sunday in Birmingham, Alabama, in a well-known nightlife district. According to an email from Officer Truman Fitzgerald, the shooting took place in the Five Points South nightlife zone on Saturday night just after 11 p.m.
