Tenpenny was fatally attacked between midnight and 6 a.m. on February 2, when an intruder entered her residence on Germania Street, as previously reported by Ohio Attorney General Dave Yost. Living alone, Tenpenny was not discovered until approximately noon that same day, according to the Fairfax police.
At the time, law enforcement officials characterized her death as “suspicious.” Subsequently, Attorney General Yost confirmed that the 64-year-old had been murdered. The Fairfax police have indicated that additional charges against the juvenile are forthcoming.
