(PINPOINT WEATHER) — Good Wednesday Morning! Starting cool and breezy this morning, with temperatures in the 40s across the region. Expect cooler temperatures this afternoon, but still seasonable for this time of year. High temperatures will climb into the mid to upper 60s under plenty of sun.
Today will be breezy at times, with gusts up to 20 mph. Relative humidity will also be very low this afternoon, which will continue the wildfire threat across the Carolinas. A burn ban is still in place for both North and South Carolina. More dry and breezy days will continue the wildfire threat into the weekend.


There will be clear skies tonight, and temperatures will fall more toward the 30s. After a chilly start for Wednesday, highs will rise near the 70-degree mark for the afternoon.
Temperatures will rise into the upper 70s and perhaps the lower 80s through the weekend. More moisture will move into the region this weekend, which may provide a few shower and thunderstorm chances, especially for Sunday.
A strong cold front will move in for Monday of next week and possibly provide a severe weather risk across the area. More details will be provided as we get closer to the start of the work week!
