Scott Tyler Brown Obituary – Scott Tyler Brown, aged 34, tragically lost his life in the early hours of Sunday, June 30, while trying to cross U.S. 421 between KFC and the Valero convenience store. The incident occurred at around 3:10 a.m. when he was hit by a pickup truck driven by Jesus Martinez Rodela, 24. The driver was unharmed, and no charges have been filed as of now.
The investigation is ongoing, and there is no suspicion of impairment on the part of the driver. Additionally, following the accident, another vehicle collided with a Wilkesboro fire truck, causing significant damage to both vehicles. The driver of the second vehicle, Victor Bustillo, 32, was charged with DWI by Wilkesboro Police.
