Scott Studebaker of Richmond, Indiana, a Whitewater Valley Corvette Club member and the founder of Studebaker Motorsport, died unexpectedly.
On October 20, several Facebook posts confirmed his death. It was also reported that he was discovered dead at his house, with a heart attack being the suspected cause of death.
“It is with great sadness that I announce Scott Studebaker passed away this morning,” Mark Lasley said in a Facebook post. He was discovered at his home after failing to arrive for his morning workout. Early reports indicate a heart attack. We pray for the Studebaker family.
At the time of writing, his family had yet to release his obituary or funeral plans. As his family and loved ones go through this difficult time, please keep them in your prayers and thoughts.
Scott Studebaker has worked in the automobile industry since he was able to walk. He learnt from the second generation of Buick GMC dealers how to develop relationships with each customer and maintain those relationships long after the transaction. Scott has always been interested in buying, selling, and collecting vintage cars, motorcycles, and boats.
His enthusiasm has remained consistent since he first drove a 1967 Camaro in high school. His catchphrase literally means, “If you can pour gas into it, I love it!” To put things in perspective, you never know what Scott is up to when you come across him. He decided to start a new business and sell “American Muscle Cars” full-time after developing an interest and skill in the field.
Scott was the type of person who did business the “old fashioned” way, which involved shaking hands and keeping promises. His commitment to you was clear; he would support you before, during, and after the transaction.
