Scott McFadden Obituary, Death; – A man who lost his life in a collision with a stationary vehicle has been identified by law enforcement. Scott McFadden, aged 38, was a passenger in a Volkswagen Golf that collided with an unoccupied Peugeot parked in Port Glasgow, Inverclyde, on Monday, December 16. The incident occurred at approximately 9:55 PM on Clune Brae, with the Golf being operated by a 50-year-old woman.
Mr. McFadden, a local resident, was declared deceased at the scene. The woman involved was transported to a hospital for medical attention and has since been arrested, although she has been released while investigations continue.
Sergeant Robert Mackie from the Road Policing Unit in Dumbarton expressed, “Our condolences go out to the family and friends of Scott McFadden during this challenging time.
“Our investigation into the complete circumstances surrounding this collision is still in progress. “I encourage anyone with information who has not yet reached out to the police to call 101, referencing number 3838 from December 16.”
