Sarel Rentschler Death – After a brief illness, Sarel Evelyn Rentschler, 35, of Fleetwood, passed away on Saturday, October 12, 2024, in the company of her loved ones at Lehigh Valley Hospital Cedar Crest. She was Kenneth H. Rentschler, Jr.’s wife. They celebrated their eighth wedding anniversary on September 3, 2016. Her parents were Eric D. and Lori A. (Kull) Garman, Fleetwood, and she was born in Allentown.
After graduating from Fleetwood High School in 2007, Sarel has spent the last 13 years teaching dance at Limelight Dance Studio in Wyomissing, where she also taught tap and musical theater. Sarel was the ray of sunshine, beaming and energizing everyone around her. She was passionate about loving others, and everyone she encountered was impacted by her large heart and lovely soul. Her primary priority in life was being a mother, but she also loved dance, Broadway performances, Disney, and suspense novels. Sarel’s greatest desire was to become a mother, whereas other people wanted to be doctors or zookeepers. Being a mother was all she had desired in life.
Her siblings, Hans D. Garman, husband of Erica E. (Knabb), Lenhartsville, Hadley E. Garman, Ft. Lauderdale, FL, and Samuel A. Garman, fiance of Darby L. Sells, Lancaster, are also survivors, along with her husband and parents. Her daughter, Gwendolyn A. Rentschler, age 3, is living at home. Along with her numerous friends and family at Limelight, she is also survived by her paternal grandmother, Janice A. (Welker) Garman of Kutztown. Her maternal grandparents, Samuel and Evelyn (Dunn) Kull, as well as her paternal grandfather, L. David Garman, both passed away before her.
