Who is Sarah McJoynt?
Sarah was a lovely and amazing 7th grade teacher at Herrick Middle School who took her students seriously. Their growth was her priority and she taught them with love and care. Her service to both her school and her student was second to none. This led to her winning so many awards within and outside her school jurisdiction. She was a goal getter and does everything positively within her means to attain success.
She loves and was loved by her family. A faithful and devote wife, whose principles in life are based on integrity and love. She had shone as light to her community and their PTA of her school. Students have grown very fond of her and their parents are always at rest when when she handles their kids. Sarah did not also lost sight of attention to details. She will be missed all those who knew and loved her.

Board minutes state that on April 19, 1902, District 2 became District 58; District 99, a distinct high school district, was established in 1923. The “newest” schools in District 58, Belle Aire and El Sierra, were built and inaugurated in 1969. With 11 elementary schools and two middle schools, District 58 serves over 4,900 students in preschool through eighth grade from Downers Grove and parts of Darien, Lisle, Lombard, Oak Brook, Westmont, and Woodridge.
