Sajdah Abdur-Rabb Obituary, Death; – The Allen County Coroner’s Office has determined that the manner of death for a 50-year-old woman from Fort Wayne, who was fatally shot on Dunkleberg Road last week, is homicide.
According to police reports, Sajdah Abdur-Rabb, aged 50, was shot at a mobile home park located off Dunkelberg Road, in proximity to Airport Expressway and Bluffton Road, on Thursday afternoon.
Court documents indicate that the victim’s 16-year-old son informed authorities that his mother’s boyfriend, 53-year-old Reginald Brooks, shot her following threats to kill her during a dispute. The victim’s family confirmed her identity to 21Alive News on Friday, stating that she was a mother of nine and a grandmother to ten grandchildren.
On Tuesday, the Allen County Coroner’s Office officially classified her death as a homicide, marking the fifth homicide in Allen County this year. In response to the tragedy, Abdur-Rabb’s family has established a GoFundMe campaign to assist with funeral expenses.
