Ryan So Death – The Scottsdale Police Department announced the passing of a detective due to an incident that occurred while on duty. Assistant Chief Rich Slavin stated that on June 13 around 7:30 p.m., the department received a distress call regarding one of their officers near the airport.
Detective Ryan So was the officer in question and was rushed to the hospital following the incident. Unfortunately, he succumbed to his on-duty injuries, as confirmed by Slavin.
Having dedicated 9 years of service to the Scottsdale Police Department, Detective So was a valued member of the Special Assignments Unit. He leaves behind his wife and three children.
