Our community is in mourning today for the unexpected and tragic death of Ryan Astacio, who went away this morning. We are all in shock and dismay over Ryan’s sudden death, and we are finding it difficult to process the loss of a dear friend, family member, and member of our community.
With his contagious laugh and kind grin, Ryan brought happiness and brightness into our lives and left a lasting effect on everyone he came into contact with. In addition to being a rock of strength and support for people in need, he was a confidant to some and a friend to many. Everyone who knew him feels the immense agony of his absence, as his death leaves an unfillable gap.
