Ross Herrmann Obituary, Death;- The El Paso County Coroner’s Office has identified the driver involved in a fatal single-vehicle accident on the west side of Colorado Springs.
Ross Herrmann, aged 33, was ejected from his vehicle and pronounced dead at the scene on February 10 after losing control on West Uintah Street, near the intersection with 21st Street, as reported by the police in a news release. Herrmann was traveling eastbound when his vehicle departed from the roadway, colliding with several trees and a building.
According to the police, excessive speed was a contributing factor in the crash, and it was noted that Herrmann was not wearing a seatbelt at the time of the incident. This incident marks the first traffic fatality in Colorado Springs for the year, with three traffic deaths recorded concurrently in 2024.
