Rose Blanchette Obituary, Death – The death notice for Rose Blanchette, who was a co-founder of Westside Fish & Chips, has finally been published. Rosa Blanchette, who was a co-owner of Westside Fish and Chips, passed away recently. It is with great sadness that we share the news of her passing. Yesterday evening, Rose, who was 88 years old, died away in a calm and serene manner at the Algonquin Grace Hospice in Huntsville.
We think that she is joyfully reunited with the man who was the love of her life, her husband Armand, following his passing in the year 2020, as well as a large number of family members and friends who had been with her for a lifetime before she passed away. After residing in this location for a considerable amount of time, Rose and Armand relocated to Huntsville in 1979 and purchased the Westside Variety Store. The west end of town was quickly identified as having a deficiency in the number of restaurants, which led to the establishment of a concise menu for takeout.
As a result of its enormous popularity, a restaurant with a seating capacity of twelve was established in 1983, and it eventually grew to become what it is today. Despite the fact that Rose had been officially retired for a considerable amount of time, she was Deb’s business partner and the other half from the background. Westside Fish and Chips became Rose’s pride and pleasure, and it is the legacy that she leaves behind. Rose had always dreamed of owning her own fish and chips shop, and she finally achieved that ambition.
As a businesswoman, Rose was a dogged and determined individual. In addition to being brimming with ideas and aspirations, she was a formidable opponent. She had a passion for hosting gatherings of family and friends for the purpose of enjoying a meal, and she brought a number of the teapots that are shown on the shelves back from her travels both in Florida and abroad. There are many people who will miss her, the most notable of whom are her four children, Sharon, Tim, Deb, and Judith, as well as her grandkids, great grandchildren, and even her extended family.
When all of the arrangements have been finalized, we will provide further information regarding her funeral and visitation. I would appreciate it if you could share this information with as many individuals as possible, even if they are not currently on our page. I am grateful to you.
