Roderick Pennell Obituary, Man killed In Mobile County wreck after being ejected from vehicle; A man was killed after being ejected from his vehicle during a two-vehicle wreck Thursday morning in Mobile County, authorities said.
Officers were dispatched to the accident at Moffett Road and Ching Dairy Road in Semmes around 9:55 a.m., according to the city’s police department. When officers arrived, they found 59-year-old Roderick Pennell dead in the roadway.
The preliminary investigation indicated that Pennell was ejected from his vehicle due to the crash. As a result, police closed one eastbound and one westbound lane of Moffett Road to conduct the ongoing investigation.
