Robin Robinson Obituary – Police are currently seeking the driver of a vehicle that struck and fatally injured a 65-year-old woman in the western suburbs on Thursday night. The incident, classified as a hit-and-run, occurred just after 9 p.m. in the 600 block of Ogden Avenue, a short distance west of Fairview Avenue.
The woman was crossing Ogden Avenue when she was struck by the vehicle. Authorities believe that the vehicle in question was a small to midsize Honda or Acura SUV traveling in the westbound direction on Ogden.
The victim has been identified as Robin Robinson of Downers Grove by the DuPage County coroner. The Downers Grove Police, along with the DuPage Major Crash Reconstruction Team, are currently conducting an investigation into the matter.
