Robert Waugh,Victoria King Obituary, Death; – Authorities in New Brunswick have disclosed the identities of two individuals who lost their lives in Chipman, N.B., late last year. On November 25, 2024, at approximately 8 a.m., the Chipman RCMP received a report regarding two individuals found within a vehicle engulfed in flames off Midland Road.
Upon arrival, law enforcement officials discovered two bodies inside a white Chevrolet Equinox that had been severely damaged by fire, as stated in a news release. The Major Crime Unit subsequently classified the deaths as homicides.
The victims have been identified as 47-year-old Robert Waugh and 23-year-old Victoria King, both residents of the Fredericton area.
Last month, authorities released an image of a “vehicle of interest” related to the homicides. The image depicts what is believed to be a red Toyota Corolla, which was reportedly seen in the Chipman vicinity during the late evening of November 24 and the early hours of November 25.
