Robert Monreal Obituary, Death; – The man who died after crashing his car into a canal has been identified as 26-year-old Robert Monreal of Dos Palos by the Fresno County Coroner’s Office. The incident occurred before 2:45 am on Thursday on Russell Avenue near Althea Avenue, south of Dos Palos, according to the California Highway Patrol. Witnesses reported seeing the car enter the canal without anyone exiting. A water rescue team recovered Monreal’s body from the vehicle, and he was declared deceased at the scene. Authorities are currently conducting an investigation to determine the circumstances that led to the crash.
