Death: Robert Massey Obituary, Chelmsford, MA – The answer is that Robert G. MASSEY was the one. The date of his demise was March 20, 2024, and he was 64 years old at the time of his passing. He was surrounded by his devoted family members at the time of his dying. Over the course of forty years, he was the cherished spouse of Joanne (Cudd) Massey, with whom he had a happy marriage that lasted for the entirety of their lives together. He had a strong commitment to the collaboration he had. Prior to his birth on September 15, 1959 in Lawrence, Massachusetts, both of his parents, George W. Massey and Cecile B. (Viger) Massey, had already passed away. His birth event took place in Lawrence. Prior to the time of his birth, he was already the son of both of them.
He attended a number of educational institutions, including North Andover High School and George Mason University, from which he successfully completed his studies and received his degree. Rob was born and raised in the town of North Andover, which is also his hometown. In addition to having lived in Chelmsford for the past three decades and a half, he had also worked for Sun Life Financial in Wellesley for more than three decades. He had been employed there for more than three decades. In the years that followed, he started working as a consultant with CareScout, and he eventually retired in the year 2023. Spending time with the people he cared about, listening to musical compositions, and spending time on his boat on Newfound Lake in New Hampshire were some of his favorite things to do.
These were the things that brought him the greatest amount of happiness. Rob devoted his time to assisting other people, coaching, and supporting his family in their pursuit of their goals and interests. His family was the most important thing in his life, and he made it a point to do everything in his power to ensure that they were successful in everything they did. Rob, who was a devoted father and grandfather, is survived by a loving family that includes two daughters, Kathleen Doyle and her husband, Brian, of Chelmsford, and Allison Perretta and her husband, Thomas, of Branford, Connecticut; and a son, Robert Massey, Jr. and his wife, Nina, of Hanover. Rob was a devoted father and grandfather.
Rob possessed a deep love for his children and grandchildren. Rob’s family includes all of his children as well as two of his grandchildren. Rob’s family is comprised of him and his children. He is the grandfather of seven grandkids, and it is highly probable that they will miss “Gaga” a significant quantity. Rob’s sister, Donna (Massey) Restivo, and her husband, Rick, who reside in Haverhill; his brother, Scott, and his wife, Patti, who are in North Andover; and a large number of nieces and nephews are among those who are left behind after his passing. Every single one of these people is also still alive today. The departure of his sister Susan (Massey) Baron occurred prior to his own departure during the course of his existence.
Memorial services will be held at the Blake Chelmsford Funeral Home, which is located at 24 Worthen Street in Chelmont. The services will begin at four o’clock in the afternoon and continue until seven o’clock in the evening. During this time, members of the family and friends from the community will have the opportunity to offer their respects. On Wednesday, March 27, at eleven o’clock in the morning, a Mass of Christian Burial will be held at St. Mary Church, which is located in Chelmsford at 25 North Road. The date and time of the event are still to be determined. In advance, I would appreciate it if you could make it to the church. Immediately after the conclusion of the service, the burial will take place at Pine Ridge Cemetery in Chelmsford following the conclusion of the service.
