Rob Gordon Obituary; Assistant Fire Chief Of Bucoda Fire Department Passed Away From Cancer: The parade in honor of Rob Gordon, the mayor of Bucoda and assistant fire chief of the Bucoda Fire Department, who passed away from cancer yesterday. At ten in the morning, departing from St. Peter Hospital and traveling south on I-5, exiting at Tumwater Blvd. (101) and traveling past Fire Station 64 to Old Hwy 99
Through Tenino and then go south on SR 507 in the direction of Bucoda. Go past the Riverside Fire downtown station and continue through the downtown area until you reach Cherry St.
Turn right on Cherry St., then left on Alder St., then left again on southbound I-5. Exit at Winlock (63) and make aright stop in Winlock before arriving at Mayor Gordon’s ultimate destination.
This is the path to memorialize them along the way, however the procession is limited to emergency vehicles and family members. Furthermore, just be keeping an eye out for any traffic jams while people show respect!
