Ricky Floyd Obituary, Death;- A woman has been charged in connection with the death of a pastor outside a bar early Wednesday morning.
According to authorities, 42-year-old Samantha Marion shot Ricky Floyd outside Momma’s Bar in Memphis, Tennessee, shortly after 1:20 a.m. on Wednesday.
Witnesses reported that an argument between Marion and Floyd escalated outside the establishment. Police indicated that surveillance footage captured Floyd throwing Marion’s phone to the ground and hurling a beer can.
Floyd attempted to leave by driving away but subsequently stopped, exited his vehicle, and approached Marion, who then shot him. Ricky Floyd, the senior lead pastor at Pursuit of God Transformation Center, was declared dead at the scene. Marion faces charges of voluntary manslaughter.
