Richard Lee Christy Obituary, Death; – Authorities in Southeast Iowa have provided information regarding a deadly motorcycle accident that occurred earlier this week.
The incident took place shortly after 7 p.m. on Monday at the intersection of Clay and Benton Streets in Ottumwa. Upon arrival, emergency personnel from the Ottumwa Police and Fire Department found Richard Lee Christy, 58, of Ottumwa, who was operating the motorcycle.
Despite efforts to save his life, Christy succumbed to the injuries sustained in the accident.
