Rhahzhem Turner Obituary, Death; – A man has been pronounced dead and a woman sustained injuries following a stabbing incident in Seymour late Sunday evening.
Christopher Eugene Stanley Jr., 33, whose most recent residence was in Port Chester, NY, has been charged with murder and first-degree assault in connection with the incident. He is currently being held on a bond of $1.5 million and is scheduled to appear in court on Tuesday.
Authorities received a call at 11:34 p.m. regarding two individuals who had been stabbed at a residence on Ajellos Farm Road. Upon arrival, law enforcement officials were able to identify the suspect through eyewitness accounts at the scene, while emergency personnel provided assistance to the victims.
Rhahzhem Turner, 46, also from Port Chester, NY, was transported to Bridgeport Hospital, where he succumbed to his injuries. The female victim, whose identity has not been disclosed, received treatment for non-life-threatening injuries at Griffin Hospital.
