Resheed Wallace Shooting: 24-Year-Old Man Died in Jersey City Fatal Shooting
The authorities report that on Friday night, gunfire killed a 24-year-old man in Jersey City. According to the Hudson County Prosecutor’s Office, the Jersey City Police Department received a report of shots fired just before 10 o’clock at night.
The incident occurred in the vicinity of Pearsall and Garfield avenues. Resheed Wallace, 24, from Jersey City, was discovered by law enforcement officers with what appeared to be a gunshot wound to the upper body.
The medical staff at Jersey City Medical Center determined that he had passed away at approximately 10:25 p.m., after he was transported there. The Homicide Unit of the Hudson County Prosecutor’s Office and the Jersey City Police Department are conducting an investigation into the deceased. As of Saturday afternoon, there had been no one taken into custody.
