Rene Garza Obituary, Death – Rene Lopez Garza, Jr., who was devoted across the board as a son, father, brother, and friend, passed away on the first Monday of April in the year 2024. One of the Martinez family’s members, he was a Martinez. When we last saw him, he was 36 years old. Not only did Rene have 19 years of experience working as an electrician at Windbrook Electric, but he was also a passionate collector of Air Jordan shoes. The duration of his stay there was 19 years.
He is survived by his loving family, his father, Rene (Star) Garza, Sr. of Corpus Christi, his mother, Veronica Lopez of Sinton, his wife, Alyssa Marie Garza of Odem, his children, Julius Michael Garza, Adalyn Ranae Garza, Jordan James Garza, Jayce Bentley Garza, Aria Marie Garza, Jarvis Matthew Garza and Davon Santellana, his brothers, Ryan Garza of Odem, Rony Garza of Odem, and Javier Lopez of Odem and his sister, Layla Star Garza of Corpus Christi, his paternal grandparents, Hector and Ester Garza, his maternal grandparents, Faustino Lopez and the late Lile Lira Lopez and his in-laws, Luis and Isabel Sanchez.
The Ritchea-Gonzales Funeral Home chapel will be the location of a reception that will take place on Tuesday, April 9, 2024, beginning at 2:00 PM and continuing until 9:00 PM. The reception will be held in honor of the deceased. A recitation of the rosary is scheduled to take place at seven o’clock in the evening. At ten o’clock in the morning on Wednesday, April 10, 2024, a funeral ceremony will be held at Sacred Heart Catholic Church in Sinton. The date and time of the service are still to be determined. The event will be presided over by Father Yul Ibay, who will also serve as the celebrant. In the immediate aftermath of the conclusion of the service, the burial will take place in the Eternal Rest Cemetery located in Sinton.
