Authorities have confirmed that Rebecca Gutierrez, the 16-year-old girl reported missing from Hesperia, has been found deceased.
On Tuesday, November 19, 2024, at approximately 10:34 a.m., members of the Sheriff’s Dive Team located her body in the California Aqueduct, in Hesperia.
Tragically, Rebecca was pronounced dead at the scene.
An autopsy is planned to determine the cause and manner of death. Currently, no further details have been disclosed.
Rebecca was reported missing on November 12, 2024, after her family last saw her on the evening of November 11. She had communicated with her family the following morning, but her whereabouts remained unknown thereafter.
Described as a Hispanic female, approximately 5’6″ tall and weighing 110 lbs., Rebecca had black hair and brown eyes.
