Rebecca Ann Themelis,Christos Byron Themelis Obituary, – The parents of a teenager in Florida were tragically killed by their son, who was later shot and killed by the police during a standoff. The incident occurred on Saturday, June 15 at around 11:00 pm in Tampa, Florida. The deceased parents have been identified as 48-year-old Rebecca Ann Themelis and 51-year-old Christos Byron Themelis.
The mother had called 911 to report that her husband had been shot, and dispatchers heard shots being fired during the call. When the police arrived, they found the suspect, 19-year-old Christos Alexander Themelis Jr, and his mother outside the home. The suspect then shot his mother and fired at the deputies before retreating inside the house. The police later found him dead inside. One of the deputies was injured in the incident but is now in stable condition after undergoing surgery on Monday.
