Raymond Bradley IV. Obituary, Iowa Man Dies In Sulphur Accident; An Iowa man died in a two-car crash early Monday morning in Louisiana.
Louisiana State Police arrived shortly before 5 a.m. on June 10 at the scene of the accident on La. 1256 near Carlyss Drive. The crash claimed the life of 40-year-old Raymond Bradley IV.
According to LSP spokesperson Matt Gaspard, Bradley was driving a Nissan Altima northbound on La. 1256 when his car struck the rear of a Peterbilt semi-truck. The semi-truck was stopped in the northbound lane at a traffic light at the Carlyss Drive intersection.
Bradley, who was not wearing a seatbelt at the time, sustained serious injuries in the crash. He was transported to a hospital, where he later died from his injuries.
The driver of the Peterbilt, who was wearing a seatbelt, sustained minor injuries.
Toxicology samples were collected from both drivers and submitted for analysis, Gaspard said. The crash remains under investigation.
