Rapper Enchanting Obituary, Gucci Mane’s Former Label Head Died From Drug Overdose: Enchanting, the Texas rapper who signed with Gucci Mane’s 1017 label in 2020 before departing last year, has died at the age of 26. Gucci Mane shared the news on social media, writing, “So sad to have to say R.I.P to such a great young lady a true star we gone all miss you Chant.” The cause of her death was not immediately disclosed.
Enchanting, whose real name was Channing Nicole Larry, made her mark in the music industry with her distinctive style. She joined 1017 Records in 2020, releasing her project “No Luv” and its deluxe version, “Luv Scarred / No Luv,” in 2022. Coi Leray, who worked with Enchanting on the track “Freaky Deaky,” also paid tribute on Instagram Stories, saying, “My heart broken praying for Enchanting friends and family. R.I.P.”
Leray added a heartfelt message: “Check on your strong friends. You just never know what someone is going through. Enchanting described her music style as “Trap-n-Blues,” emphasizing the emotional and relatable nature of her lyrics. “Staying in the studio and constantly recording, it helps me find the style I can be good at,” she said in a statement on her 1017 Records profile. “Other people can relate to the things I say.
