Randy S. Goodermuth Obituary – The Kansas Bureau of Investigation announced that Randy S. Goodermuth, a 66-year-old man from Hays, was discovered deceased on Sunday evening south of Hays. Officials believe that Goodermuth died due to an accidental drowning.
The Hays Police Department reported Goodermuth’s passing to the KBI. Goodermuth had been the subject of a statewide Silver Alert issued on Thursday after he went missing from his residence in Hays. The KBI mentioned that Goodermuth, who suffered from schizophrenia, was last seen experiencing hallucinations as he fled his home.
It was noted that Goodermuth did not possess a vehicle or a cell phone. The Ellis County coroner determined that Goodermuth’s death was a result of an accidental drowning.
