Rain Mancini, Phillip Zilliot II Obituary – The Pasco County Sheriff’s Office announced that a family of four, which disappeared last week, is now feared to be deceased after human remains were discovered on a property in Hudson, Florida. The property owner, 25-year-old Rory Atwood, has been charged with first-degree murder.
Sheriff Chris Nocco revealed during a press briefing that the human remains found on Atwood’s property have not been identified yet, but authorities suspect they may belong to the missing family. Currently, the sheriff’s office is referring to the remains as John Doe.
The missing individuals include 26-year-old Rain Mancini, 25-year-old Phillip Zilliot II, 6-year-old Karma Zilliot, and 5-year-old Phillip Zilliot III. They were last seen on June 12 near Nottingham Trail in Hudson. The investigation revealed that Mancini, Zilliot II, and their children were at Atwood’s residence, where an argument broke out after consuming alcohol.
At around 2 a.m., Atwood reportedly called a friend in a panic, claiming to have shot someone. It was not until 12 hours later that the sheriff’s office was notified, and the information received was second-hand. Deputies searched Atwood’s property with his consent, but nothing suspicious was found.
