Rachel Ware,Lamar Ware Obituary, Death; – A couple from George County has been named in connection with a tragic house fire that occurred overnight in the region.
As reported by Eric Howard, the Director of the George County Emergency Management Agency, emergency services received a call regarding a fire on Buckley Road in the Barton community at approximately 10:15 p.m. on Thursday.
Five fire departments from the local area responded to the incident. Howard confirmed that the victims, identified as Rachel and Lamar Ware, were unable to escape the residence. The investigation into the cause of the fire is currently underway.
