Born on February 3, 1949, Quinton first attended Edgewood High School and then raised in Trenton. Throughout the Vietnam War, he heroically and patriotically served in the US Army, receiving an honorable discharge.
After arriving back home, Quinton began working as a skilled electrician. He was respected and admired by his peers for his work ethic and knowledge during his more than 40 years as one.
