CHARLOTTE, N.C. (QUEEN CITY NEWS) — Charlotte-Mecklenburg detectives are requesting the public’s help in solving two separate hit-and-run incidents.
“These cases are not connected, but both have left victims in need of justice,” the post from CMPD reads.
Detectives need help identifying the driver and vehicle involved in a hit-and-run on Jan. 8, 2025, around 7 a.m. Police say a pedestrian was struck while in the crosswalk on the 3100 block of Selwyn Avenue. The victim sustained serious injuries.
CMPD also needs help identifying the driver of a hit-and-run vehicle from Nov. 30, 2024. The incident occurred at the 300 block of E. Arrowood Road around 6 p.m. The pedestrian involved suffered serious injuries.
