LUCEDALE, Mississippi ~ Jacob Kyle McIntosh, the husband of missing Movella lady Kayla Brooke Crawford, has a warrant out for his arrest for first-degree murder, the George County Sheriff’s Office (GCSO) reported in a news release on Friday afternoon. The warrant was issued for Jacob Kyle McIntosh. WKRG News 5 received confirmation from a member of Crawford’s family that the remains discovered in the Movella neighborhood are indeed those of Crawford. “Just wanted to send out a quick thank you to everyone who has shared our message, prayed for us, and assisted with the investigation. “During this trying time, please pray for our family as we work through it together,” said a member of the family.
Kayla Crawford, who is now 31 years old, was last seen on March 24 at her house in the village of Movella. Since then, the George County Sheriff’s Office, together with K-9s and volunteer searchers, have been looking for her. WKRG News 5 has contacted the GCSO to inquire about the identity of the remains, and they have confirmed that they belong to Crawford.
After a number of months spent searching for clues and compiling evidence, the George County Sheriff’s Office was able to get a warrant issued for McIntosh’s arrest on the charge of first-degree murder. McIntosh stands at a height of approximately 5 feet 6 inches and has a body mass index of 130. His hair and eyes are brown in color. In addition to that, he has several tattoos, including the names “Kayla” and “Jace” on his stomach and “FTW” on his right arm.
According to GCSO, McIntosh may be operating a black 2003 Harley Davidson Sportster 1200 bearing the license plate number #180775M in the state of Alabama. Crawford is listed as the owner on the registration for the motorcycle. The GCSO believes that McIntosh may have access to firearms and that he “should be considered armed and dangerous.” The GCSO recommends staying away from McIntosh altogether. Instead, they have requested that you get in touch with local authorities as soon as possible if you come across him.
