(PINPOINT WEATHER) — We’ve finally got some showers developing and moving in from the south and west, and more are expected through tonight. A thunderstorm is possible as well. Good news for wildfires — those areas will get some needed periods of rain through tonight and Monday.
**PINPOINT WEATHER ALERT MONDAY**
Monday will be a rainy and stormy day. Some rain & stormy weather is possible in the morning, especially in the mountains & foothills. The more robust round is still expected in the afternoon/evening, roughly 1 pm-6 pm. Damaging wind, hail and tornadoes are all possible. However, it’s also possible AM clouds & showers could keep things a little tamer for us here, with the higher severe threat shifting south & east of our area.

Tuesday is sunny, with highs in the 70s. Shower and storm chances return for Wednesday and Thursday, then attention turns to the HOTTER weather ahead for late week! Highs could end up near 90 on Friday!
