FREDERICKSBURG, VA – A high-speed pursuit led to the arrest of a Philadelphia woman on June 2, when local deputies responded to reports of reckless driving around 12:35 p.m. Fauquier County authorities were alerted about a red Ford Mustang driving erratically and endangering a motorcyclist near Stafford. First Sergeant J.D. Florendo, along with Deputies C.R. Szentkuti and A. De Hoyos, located the vehicle on Hartwood Road and attempted a traffic stop. However, the driver briefly halted before speeding off again, heading south on Warrenton Road. The pursuit ended when the vehicle stopped at a residence on the 1700 block of Warrenton road.
