An Orland Park father tragically died in a motorcycle accident on Tuesday. Pavle Vukanic died in the crash that happened in Chicago. The Orland Park family has released an obituary and funeral details for the 54-year-old.
Pavle Vukanic’s cousin, Zora Timotijevic wrote; “It is with a very heavy heart that I’m writing about the untimely death of my cousin Pavle Vukanic. Visitation will be Friday from 4-8 at Adolf Funeral Home in Willowbrook, IL. The funeral will be held on Saturday at 10 am at Gracanica.
Pavle will be incredibly missed by his family, relatives, kumovi, friends and co-workers. Taken from us way too soon. We were all blessed to have had him in our lives. May his memory be eternal.”
Pavle Vukanic of Orland Park died on October 7, 2024. He was born on October 18, 1969, in Berwyn, Illinois, to Petar and Sonja Vukanic. Dedicated husband of Dušica Vukanic. Vukanic is the beloved father of Luka, Darija, and Tijana. He is also survived by his mother Sonja and brother Nikola. A visitation will be held on Friday, October 11, 2024, from 4 to 8 p.m. at Adolf & Powell Funeral Home, 7000 S Madison St., Willowbrook, IL 60527, followed by a Pomen Service at 7 p.m. On Saturday, October 12, 2024, a funeral service will be held in New Gracanica Serbian Monastery – Српски Мaнастир Нова Грачаница, 35240 W Grant Ave, Lindenhurst, IL 60046, at 10 a.m. Interment will follow.
