Jersey Shore icon DJ Pauly D father Paul Delvecchio passed away. He died peacefully on Saturday, May 4, 2024 at the age of 71 surrounded by his beloved family. The actual cause of Paul Delvecchio’s death has not been made known. Born in Providence, he was the son of the late Anthony and Anna (Ianiero) DelVecchio. Paul owned and operated P. DelVecchio Remodeling for many years before he retired. Carpentry wasn’t just a job for him, it was his passion. He was a “Jack of all trades,” capable of building or fixing anything that came his way. His dedication to his craft was matched only by his love for his family and nature.
A devoted father and grandfather, Paul cherished the moments spent with his loved ones, especially those filled with walks by the ocean or exploring the great outdoors. In addition to his carpentry skills, Paul had a deep love for life’s simpler pleasures. He was a regular at the local casinos, enjoying the thrill of playing the slots. Family gatherings often found him immersed in spirited card games, never turning down the chance to bond over a friendly competition. Paul’s talents extended beyond his handiwork and gaming skills. He possessed a beautiful singing voice, captivating those around him with his musical abilities.

He is survived by his daughter, Vanessa DelVecchio-Lindimore and his son, Paul DelVecchio Jr.; his brother, Dennis DelVecchio and his wife, Linda and 4 grandchildren, Samantha ,Austin, and Alana. He was the brother of the late Brenda Madden and Anthony DelVecchio, Jr. Visitation will be held on Tuesday Morning, May 14, 2024 from 10 a.m. – 11 a.m. in St. Augustine Church, 639 Mount Pleasant Ave., Providence, RI, where a Mass of Christian Burial will be Celebrated at 11 a.m. Inurnment will follow at St Ann Cemetery, Church St., Cranston, RI.

Paul Michael DelVecchio Jr., better known by his stage names Pauly D and DJ Pauly D, was born on July 5, 1980. He is a television personality and DJ in the United States of America.
