Patricia Mascarena Obituary – The individual who was stabbed in an incident on June 28 in the Billings Heights has passed away, and the individual responsible was injured by a Yellowstone County deputy. The deceased has been identified as Patricia Mascarena, 55, of Billings.
The cause of death was determined to be multiple sharp force injuries, and the manner of death was ruled a homicide. The deputy involved in the altercation, Deputy Kevin Stahlberg, has been placed on temporary administrative leave as per standard procedure while the incident is internally reviewed.
The Billings Police Department is conducting the investigation.
