Born on September 1, 1942, to Joseph Garnett Loafman and Marelle Workman Loafman, Patty’s life was marked by her unwavering commitment to family, faith, and community. She found solace and joy in her membership at the Lone Oak First Baptist Church, where her faith flourished alongside her sense of belonging.
Patty’s passion for music was evident to all who knew her. She found comfort and expression at the piano and organ, immersing herself in melodies that spoke to her soul Married to Wayne Ezell for 63 years, their bond was a testament to enduring love. Together, they raised two children, Jo Ann Knapp and Bob Ezell, instilling in them values of compassion, resilience, and togetherness.
Patty’s role as a grandmother brought her immense joy, and she cherished every moment spent with her four grandchildren, Robin Lemond, Connor Ezell, Austin Knapp, and Chad Knapp. Her love extended to her great-grandchildren, Houston and Harper Lemond, who brought light and laughter into her life. In honoring Patty’s memory, a service will be held at the Lone Oak Chapel of Milner & Orr Funeral Home on April 4, 2024, officiated by Rev. Jeff Wallace. Visitation will be held on April 3, 2024, providing an opportunity for friends and family to pay their respects.
