Pascasio Contreras-Dominguez,Bridget Peterson Obituary – On Friday, a tragic accident occurred on Highway 68 at Spreckels Boulevard, resulting in the loss of two lives, according to the California Highway Patrol (CHP). The incident, which took place around 4:40 p.m., involved a grey Mazda that rolled over and a white Honda that was also involved in the collision. CHP has confirmed that one person perished in each vehicle.
The Monterey County Sheriff’s Office has identified the victims as Pascasio Contreras-Dominguez, 64, and Bridget Peterson, 52, both residents of Salinas. As a result of the crash, the westbound number 2 lane remained closed for several hours on Friday evening. The investigation into the cause of the accident is still ongoing.
