Pasadena Car Accident: Esrom Fessemaye, Mohed Samuel, and Stefan Michael Pfeiffer Died in Crash Involving a Tesla Model 3
Authorities said that a car collided with an uninhabited apartment in Pasadena, CA, resulting in the deaths of three teenagers and the hospitalization of three others. The Pasadena Police Department reported a single-vehicle crash occurring shortly after 2:30 a.m. at the junction of Sierra Madre and Foothill Boulevards. The occupants of the Tesla Model 3 ranged in age from 17 to 22. According to police Lt. Anthony Russo, three individuals were expelled from the vehicle as a result of the collision.
According to the lieutenant, the driver and two passengers were declared deceased at the location. The survivors were conveyed to a medical facility with severe injuries and were categorized as being in a stable state. The Eyewitness News surveillance video shows a Tesla car traveling at a high speed before colliding and exploding. The collision caused the car to disintegrate.
The collision caused the power line to fall and resulted in the closure of the intersection, which was subsequently reopened. Acquaintances, profoundly distressed by the tragedy, assembled near the location of the accident later in the day.
Stefan Michael Pfeiffer has been recognized as one of the deceased victims. The individual, aged 20, was enrolled as a student at Pasadena City College. Esrom Fessemaye and the 22-year-old driver, Mohed Samuel, were said to have been killed, according to statements from coworkers. Samuel’s younger sister sustained severe injuries, as did a man and a woman.
Russo claims that high velocity was a factor in the incident, which caused significant damage to the structure. According to the police, the Tesla was traveling at a speed that was at least double the legal limit when the driver disregarded a red light and subsequently lost control of the vehicle.
