Orhan Hosic Obituary, – The Genesee County Sheriff’s Office is currently investigating a fatal shooting incident in Fenton Township. According to Chris Swanson, the Genesee County Sheriff, deputies were dispatched to an apartment located on Thompson and Jennings Roads at approximately 5:49 p.m. on Saturday, July 6.
Swanson mentioned that 33-year-old Orhan Hosic was discovered with multiple gunshot wounds, and his death is being treated as a homicide case. Residents reported hearing what seemed like gunshots around 3 p.m. on Saturday afternoon, but due to the Fourth of July celebrations, they were uncertain.

Authorities are seeking assistance from the public. There have been sightings of an orange Chevy Camaro in the vicinity during the time of the incident. Individuals with surveillance footage or any details regarding the vehicle are urged to step forward.
Swanson emphasized the importance of sharing any information, no matter how insignificant it may seem, by contacting either 911 or the sheriff’s dispatch at 810-257-3422. The sheriff’s office is collaborating with Hosic’s family and another agency based in Detroit to piece together the investigation. Swanson stressed that the incident was not random but rather a deliberate act.
