One person is deceased and another in critical condition after a head-on motorcycle crash in Tooele County Saturday night, according to the Tooele County Sheriff’s Office.
At around 8 p.m. on June 8, the sheriff’s office received multiple calls regarding a motorcycle crash in the area of 7000 North Center Street in Lakepoint.
The initial investigation showed that two 20-year-old men were riding on a motorcycle, heading northbound on Center Street, when they collided head-on with a car in the southbound lane.
One of the men was pronounced deceased on scene while the other was flown to a Salt Lake area hospital in critical condition.
The occupants of the car were uninjured in the crash, authorities said.
The cause of the crash is under investigation at this time. The identity of the victims have not been released.
