Ollie-lou Isbell Obituary – The departure of Ollie-lou Isbell, nee Williams, who left this world in a calm and peaceful manner on Friday, February 23, 2024, at the age of 86, is something that we mourn with sad hearts. Ollie was a well-liked local of South Holland, Illinois, and her presence offered love, friendship, and happiness to everyone who had the pleasure of knowing her. The legacy of love, compassion, and kindness that she leaves behind is something that we are contemplating as we come together to pay our respects to her memory.
Ollie was a loving mother to her children, Daryl Gearon and Derrick Russell, Sr., who passed away before her parents. Her love was limitless, and she devoted her entire being to helping and supporting her family through the ups and downs of life. Her love knew no limitations. It was clear that she was completely devoted to her children, as seen by every action, every word, and every second that they spent together.
In her role as a grandmother, Ollie was a wellspring of love and affection for her grandkids, Mylaun Todd, Mayia Todd, Janae Neese, Derrick Russell Jr., and Temica LaRielle Dye. Her love and affection for her grandchildren was unlimited. In the course of their journey through life, she showered each of them with love, knowledge, and direction, and she treasured each and every one of them deeply. Her legacy will live on in the hearts of her grandchildren, who will always treasure the moments they enjoyed with their cherished grandma. Her legacy will stay with them forever.
Not only did Ollie have a close relationship with her immediate family, but she was also a treasured relative to Mabel Simmons and a large number of other members of the Simmons family. Her family was the source of her greatest happiness, and she enjoyed every time that she was able to spend with them. The love and presence of Ollie offered comfort and peace to everyone who knew her, whether they were gathered around the dinner table, sharing stories and laughter, or offering a shoulder to rest on in times of need.
Her parents, Willie B. Williams Sr. and Mozella Williams, as well as her siblings, Willie B. Williams Jr., Bobby Jean DeLafossa, Billie Williams, Benjamin Williams, Douglas Snow, and Bernard Williams, all passed away before Ollie. She was the last surviving member of her family. Even though they may have left this world before she did, their memory will continue to live on in the hearts of those who loved them, and they will be treasured and remembered for all of eternity.
Ollie’s generosity of spirit, compassion, and kindness for others allowed her to make a positive impact on the lives of a great number of people during her whole life. She was cherished by a great number of people, and she will be sorely missed by everyone who had the honor of getting to know her. The thought that Ollie Bell Russell’s legacy of love and compassion will continue to shine brightly in the hearts of all those who were lucky enough to have been touched by her grace is a source of consolation for us as we say our goodbyes to Ollie Bell Russell. In the knowledge that she was adored and loved beyond all measure, may she rest in eternal peace, and may the memory of her be a benefit to all those who had the privilege of knowing her.
