Don Smythe Obituary, Death- We are utterly heartbroken to have to inform you of the passing of our beloved cousin Don Smythe. Don left behind a legacy of love, compassion, and unwavering friendship when he went away but we will carry on his legacy in our thoughts and memories.
Don was a wonderful man who was devoted to his family and had a large circle of sincere friends. He never abandoned his wife and children. Those who had the good fortune to have known him reported an immediate feeling of ease and warmth when they were in his presence.
It was one of his remarkable gifts to be able to connect with other people, and he was always there to provide an ear and an understanding ear to anyone who needed it. Because Don was able to empathize with people and offer them solace, he became a cherished figure in the lives of everyone who was fortunate enough to know him.
We consider it an incredible stroke of luck that we were able to have him along for the voyage, and we will miss him very much indeed. Even though our hearts are broken, the knowledge that Don is finally at peace in paradise brings us some measure of solace.
Now that he has accomplished what he set out to do, the gates of heaven are open to him, and he can find solace and peace there. Even though he is not here with us in the physical sense anymore, we will carry him with us in our thoughts and hearts forever.
The loss of Don Smythe serves as a sad reminder that the actions of a single person have the potential to alter the course of history. Those who had the good fortune to call him a friend will forever carry the legacy of his affection, generosity, and friendship with them in their hearts.
