Longtime meteorologist Norm Dvoskin, who passed away at the age of 93, is being remembered by News 12.
Before retiring in 2016, Dvoskin, one of the original faces of News 12, provided weather forecasts for thirty years.
His distinct approach of fusing humor, weather, and clever puns, quips, and jokes never failed to make viewers smile.
He even written two humorous books about the weather.
Dvoskin worked at Grumma in Bethpage for a long time before to joining News 12 where he studied the effects of the environment on Grumman’s programs.
The longstanding resident of Melville was a grandfather and a father of three children.
On October 1, his ceremonies will take place at Gutterman’s Jewish Funeral Home in Woodbury.
