Noah Berry “Whopper” Roberson, 70, of Desdemona, Texas, formerly of Guymon, Oklahoma and Dalhart, Texas, passed away Saturday evening, May 11, 2024 at Heart to Heart Hospice in Fort Worth, Texas.
The son of Lonnie Berry and Jewell (Pride) Roberson, he was born July 11, 1953 in Dalhart, Texas. Noah attended school in Guymon and Dalhart, graduating with the Dalhart Class of 1972. He was an exceptional athlete. Whopper worked as a respiratory therapist for Harris Hospital in Fort Worth, Texas.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Lonnie Roberson and Jewell Dawes, and one brother, Harold Zundell.
Survivors include his partner of 26 years, Debbie Haney of Desdemona, Texas, two sisters, Carolyn Shields of Guymon and Judy Lewallen of Blanchard, Oklahoma, his two children and grandchildren, and his nieces and nephews.
Graveside memorial services will be conducted Saturday afternoon, June 1st at 1:00 p.m. at the Elmhurst Cemetery in Guymon. Memorials in lieu of flowers may be given to the American Cancer Society. Memorials will be accepted at Bunch – Roberts Funeral Home, P.O. Box 1112, Guymon, Oklahoma 73942.
