Nickalous Green Obituary, Death; – A driver lost his life following a head-on collision with an SUV in Macon on Sunday, as reported by the Bibb County Sheriff’s Office. The driver of a Chevrolet van, identified as 38-year-old Nickalous Green, attempted to maneuver around another vehicle but instead collided with an oncoming Ford Expedition SUV, according to a news release from the deputies.
The SUV was traveling north, while Green was heading south. The incident took place shortly after 2 a.m. on Pio Nono Avenue, as stated by the sheriff’s office. Green was transported to Atrium Navicent Health hospital, where he was pronounced dead due to “blunt force trauma” approximately one hour after the accident, as confirmed by Coroner Leon Jones. Green’s family has been informed of his passing.
The 37-year-old driver of the SUV was also taken to a hospital and is reported to be in stable condition, according to deputies.
